Layers of smoky, spicy, & creamy deliciousness make this burger something special. Treat yourself to this burger with a good bottle of Zinfandel.
1 lb ground beef
4 slices Bacon (I prefer Applewood Smoked)
4 slices Havarti Cheese
2 Poblano Peppers
1 medium Red Onion
4 tablespoons Picnic Chipotle Sage Spread
4 Hamburger Buns (go all the way and use the fancy Brioche Buns)
Slice a medium red onion into 1/2" thick ring. Sauté in 1-1/2 tbsp butter, leave in pan on stovetop. Cook bacon. Set to side. Make four hamburger patties.
Grill burgers & poblanos. Burgers until done to your liking. Grill the poblanos until they are nice and charred. Reheat onions while burgers are on the grill. Toast split buns on grill, then spread about 2 tbsp Picnic Chipotle Sage on bottom bun. Place burgers on bottom bun, then top with poblanos, bacon, grilled onion, & arugula. Add top & serve.
